It took great amount of research to finalize Horseland resort (official website). They had the best reviews on tripadvisor.com and my friends too recommended the place. Plus Horseland was the only classy resort offering vegetarian plus non-veg meals package.
Here's the review of Horseland Hotel and Mountain Spa:
It is located almost at the centre of the market. All you need to do is take a 2-min walk on a well-connected lane. The rooms are spacious and clean.
The food is super excellent and they offer a great deal of variety.
For recreation, they have carrom, table tennis, badminton and playing cards. There's an open-air discotheque too. The resort also offers massage packages.
It was very special since we went on New Year's Day. The folks at Horseland had arranged for special activities for the guests. These included everything from games, treks, exotic cuisine, magic show, jugglers, mehendi, astrology... You name it!
One disappointment was that since we checked in pretty late, despite advance payment, we were accommodated in a very sad room and the manager / owner kept telling us that it was a deluxe room. They shifted us to the actual deluxe room the next day which obviously was
much superior to the previous room. But since it was the first day of the year, we avoided any argument. I wish others are not treated the same way.
One very impressive thing about Horseland was that their geysers run on solar power!
I would give Hotel & Mountain Spa a rating of 4 out of 5. You must go there once!

Been there personally. And i should say that i loved the experience.
I went to this hotel just last week with my wife, kid n friends, overall 8 of us. The place is ridden with bed bugs. All of our four rooms had bedbugs all around, more than 15-20 in each room. We couldn't leave the hotel as it was already late night. The alternate rooms that the reception showed us too had bed bugs.
The place is not at all the way it looks on their website. It's filthy, dirty, n horrible. We had booked it for 3 days but left in a night. I checked out all these reviews n booked it, but save urselves don't even venture here.
They named it as a spa. It is nothing more than a shabby massage parlour. Rooms n the hotel is just like a hourly-lodge. Save urselves, go some place else.
